18s/17s Divisions Combined for 2nd Weekend |

As mentioned early last week in an email to the club directors and coaches participating in the Classic this weekend, we have combined the 18s and 17s divisions in a unique format for this weekend's event.
WHY COMBINE?
In an effort to make the event more accessible in 2010, we moved the tournament to a weekend date, started
on Saturday instead of Friday, and separated it from AAUs and JO's by at least two weeks. Unfortunately, we
have seen a drop in teams entering the event in 2010. We believe we have a handle on what has caused the
drop and will continue to seek information from coaches and directors on how to keep this wonderful event in
the Wisconsin Dells in the future.
Due to the decline in team entries, we decided to combine the 18s and 17s and have devised a unique format
that will still allow us to crown a champion in each division. We appreciate all the coaches and directors that
contributed to the format and continue to support this unique event. Out team will promise to continue our effort to grow the Classic moving forward. |
