Opening Ceremonies PDF Print E-mail

The Opening Ceremonies is one of the unique features of the PrepVolleyball.com Classic.  In our first three years we entertained the crowd with some of the most talented performers in the Wisconsin Dells and 2010 promises to be even better!

The 2010 Opening Ceremonies will be held at the Wisconsin Dells Center in the Wisconsin Dells. The Ceremonies will be held the Friday night before each session and will be held in the playing venue just minutes from the Chula Vista Resort. The Opening Ceremonies will include a club procession, a short program by the tournament staff and a great entertainment package sponsored by the Chula Vista Resort.  Families of players are invited to attend FREE of charge!

We will be unable to provide shuttle service to the Opening Ceremonies in 2010 due to the lack of available shuttles.  However, parking is free at the Wisconsin Dells Center on Friday night!

In 2008 we added a club procession (like the Olympics), new acts and a new format that will continue in 2010.  We encourage each club to bring a banner or large sign (like the one below) if they have one that let's everyone know who they are.  Also, we encourage the players to all wear something that designates their club and/or team.

The schedule for the Opening Ceremonies (for all 3 tournaments) will be released as the event gets closer.  What we can tell you is that you should plan to arrive in the Dells in time to attend the opening ceremonies the night before play begins.
