The Opening Ceremonies is one of the unique features of the PrepVolleyball.com Classic.  In our first two years we entertained the crowd with some of the most talented performers in the Wisconsin Dells and 2009 promises to be even better!

The 2009 Opening Ceremonies will be held at the world famous Tommy Bartlett Show (Website) in the Wisconsin Dells. The Ceremonies will begin at 7:30pm each session and will be held in the 4,000 seat grandstand stadium overlooking beautiful Lake Delton. The Opening Ceremonies will include a club procession, a short program by the tournament staff and the full Tommy Bartlett Ski & Stage Show FREE to all involved. Families of players are invited to attend FREE of charge!

Unlinke years past, we will be unable to provide shuttle service to the Opening Ceremonies in 2009 due to the distance from the resort and available shuttles.  For directions to the show, click here.

In 2008 we added a club procession (like the Olympics), new acts and a new format that will continue in 2009.  We encourage each club to bring a banner or large sign (like the one below) if they have one that let's everyone know who they are.  Also, we encourage the players to all wear something that designates their club and/or team. 

The schedule for the Opening Ceremonies (for all 3 tournaments) will be released as the event gets closer.  What we can tell you is that you should plan to arrive in the Dells in time to attend the opening ceremonies the night before play begins.
